A fun, friendly competition just for the kids hosted by:

The Capital City Bassmasters will be hosting the Kids Casting Contest at the Great American Outdoor Show!

This incredible event is hosted by Capital City Bassmaster volunteers who teach kids how to cast, pitch, and flip a fishing rod, and then compete in a friendly contest. What an opportunity to encourage today’s youth to participate in one of the most enjoyable outdoor sports.

Registration is on-site and there is no fee to enter the contest! Just show up, register your child, and participate!

Age Groups:

8 Year Olds and Under

8-10 Year Olds

11-14 Year Olds

14-17 Year Olds

Contest Times:

February 1st: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

February 2nd: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM & 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

February 8th: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

February 9th: 10:30AM - 12:30 PM

February 9th Championships: 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Winners in each session will be given certificates & goodie bags and invited to the Championships on February 9th!

Winners of the Championships on February 9th will be given trophies & prizes!
